Sip Sip Hooray for Greater Lansing Craft Beverage Pass

You won’t want to pass on a new initiative launched by Choose Lansing. The membership organization, dedicated to marketing the Capital Region of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties as a prime destination for visitors, has created what it calls a Craft Beverage Pass. It’s simple, it’s free and it incentivizes people to frequent some of the many fine craft breweries, wineries and artisan distilleries that are located in the Greater Lansing area. In fact, the best of the best are participating in the program—15 strong so far and the list is growing.

“Choose Lansing has curated the best craft breweries, artisan distilleries and boutique wineries in Michigan’s Capital Region so that you can sip, savor and discover your favorite craft beverage,” said Tracy Padot, Choose Lansing’s Vice President of Marketing Communications.

The business-boosting agency rolled out the program in early March. So far, it’s been well-received.

“We helped create the pass to drive business to our brewery, winery and distillery partners,” Padot said. “There is not a fee for them to participate—it’s a free member benefit.”

The program is ongoing. Padot and company cite a number of reasons craft beer lovers and other adult beverage enthusiasts should get a pass:
